Active MQ integration with Jboss fuse 6.2.1 on Jboss EAP 6.4

    ravi narayanan Expert

      Hi All,

Active MQ is included in Jboss fuse 6.2.1.

Can you please tell me how to integrate with switchyard?

Does the standalone configuration already includes activemq configuration?Or do we need to add the active MQ resource adapter and configure the connection factories.

          Ravi

I think you need to have a resource adapter in place and have necessary configuration in your xml configuration files. I am familiar with EAP 6.3 and the standalone.xml. But not so sure about the switchyard.

            Hi,

I am new in the red hat world and I am wondering if you could help me configuring ActiveMQ.
I have successfully install FUSE 6.2.1 on EAP 6.4.0, and now trying to integrate ActiveMQ 6.2.1. Both the Fuse on EAP and the Active MQ (on karaf) are working well separated, the problems comes when I try to configure the AMQ on the EAP.

First of all, is there any chance to avoid having the AMQ on a Karaf, and directly install it on the EAP?
            I have followed this document:

            https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_JBoss_A-MQ/6.2/pdf/Integrating_with_JBoss_Enterprise_Application_P…

With no luck, the EAP failed at starting, so I give it a shot to this document:
Configuring a Resource Adapter for ActiveMQ on JBoss/WildFly

And with this second document the EAP is starting with some ERRORs:

            ./standalone.sh
