A-MQ 6.x can be configured to globally control the memory and disk resources used, as documented at http://activemq.apache.org/producer-flow-control.html. This is essential in our environment.
A-MQ 7 does not seem to have global memory or disk usage control. For more information, see:
Could this global control (both on the overall size used and what to do when limits are exceeded) please be added to A-MQ 7?
