Problems with tutorial

Sorry, newbie here. Having trouble with the tutorial. The command failed due to unKnownHostException. I tried 5 different maven setting.xml files, none seemed to work, does it need a special settings.xml file?

mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=net.avh4.mvn.archetype -DarchetypeArtifactId=java-1.8-archetype

Hi,

the thing is that there is no archetype with the artifactId you used. There is available only the one for Java 1.6.
This part of Arquillian tutorial hasn't been updated for a long time, that's why there is still Java 1.6. We will try to improve it and update the tutorials, but we are struggling with lack of time and resources.
