Can we use EAP 6.4 without any subscription

Hi,

I have verified so many thread in our Forums. Could someone find me an answer that can we use this EAP 6.4 version without any subscription.

Can you please provide an info like what are terms and conditions if we want to use it as free subscription.

WE WILL NOT USE THIS IN PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT AND ITS ONLY NON-PRODUCTION LIKE TEST (or) DEV ENVIRONMENT.

Note:-

We want use this for Development purpose like TEST/DEV Environment.

Hi,

You can use it without any subscription as Its is open source. But you can't get any support for any kind of issue which you have been encountered during the use of JBoss EAP 6. You can download JBoss EAP from Red Hat site and use it.

you can use source without subscription but not binaries.
open source != open binaries

There ware lots of debate about this on this forum in the past.

Said all that you can use EAP binaries in development / testing as part Red Hat developer program, aka $0 subscription.
