WildFly Start up process
mosterhout Nov 30, 2017 11:42 AMHello All,
I am 6 months new to lunix and brand new to wildfly. I inherited another admin's work where he setup DEV, QA, and Prod wildfly servers, i am trying to get the management console working so we can see some statistics on the JVMs to do some right sizing.
At first i was able to get into the JBOss-CLI just fine, so i made a change to /opt/wildfly/standalone/configuration/standalone.xml and added a user to get the console working, when i reloaded widfly the console now it doesn't seem to fully come up.
everything works fine JVMs are running able to process orders and the console some up, but i never get back to a prompt(see below). if i hit ctrl+c it shutsdown wildfly and brings me back to the cli prompt.
i also can't get in to the JBoss-CLI from the server it's self any more i am getting a connection refused, and the console is getting the same thing.
VM running on VMware 10.x i think
Redhat 4.8.5-16
Changes to standalone.xml -
<interface name="management">
<inet-address value="${jboss.bind.address.management:127.0.0.1}"/>
</interface>
<interface name="public">
<inet-address value="${jboss.bind.address:0.0.0.0}"/>
</interface>
Replaced with
<interface name="management">
<any-address/>
</interface>
<interface name="public">
<any-address/>
</interface>
[root ~]# /opt/wildfly/bin/standalone.sh
