    EAP 7.1 Thread behavior on heavy load

      Hi,

      I am upgrading jboss EAP 6 to EAP 7.1.

      I would like to understand what happens when heavy load experiences on server and if thread goes to BLOCKED state and does not release them due to some DB issue or application lock ?

      What kind of error it throws when max connections reaches..? wanted to auto restart when i can identify that behavior.

      This is the config i am planning since the load is very high -

      <subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:io:4.0">

        <worker name="default"  task-max-threads="4096"/>

        <buffer-pool name="default" />

      </subsystem>

      In EAP 6 we were getting the below in server log hence we do restart when we see this error as the application hangs

      [org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint] (-Acceptor-0) Maximum number of threads (4096) created for connector with address
