Wildfly 12 windows service not shutting down

    Nikhil Kookkiri Newbie

I have installed Wildfly 12 as service in Windows 7 and I am having trouble with shutting down the Wildfly service. I am using the updated the patched commons demon (prunsrv.exe) after renaming it as wildfly-service.exe. Here is what I get in the events log:

Faulting application name: wildfly-service.exe, version: 1.1.0.0, time stamp: 0x5a022cf5

Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.24117, time stamp: 0x5add228d

      Exception code: 0xc0000005

      Fault offset: 0x000000000002a041

      Faulting process id: 0x151c

      Faulting application start time: 0x01d3f70b4dc71ad7

      Faulting application path: C:\wildfly-12.0.0.Final\bin\service\amd64\wildfly-service.exe

      Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

      Report Id: 795a3da1-6309-11e8-9fe8-080027ad4aba

Is there a way to get around this. Here is the command I am using to install Wildfly as service:

      service.bat install /startup /jbossuser username /jbosspass password /controller localhost:9993 /name Wildfly-12.0.0.Final /display Wildfly-12.0.0-Final-AS /debug

Please let me know how to resolve this.

      Thanks,
