If this is something Tomcat specific so probably not. Jboss Web (Tomcat) was replaced in 7.0 by Undertow. However 7.0 still provide support for JAAS Login Modules [1] throught PicketBox.

But PicketBox is now deprecated in favour of Elytron introduced in 7.1. So you should consider migrating to Elytron. Elytron abandoned JAAS concept and introduce realms [2].
