Infinispan 9.3.1 cluster not formed using TCPPING

Hi,

We are using Infinispan server 8.2.6 and use TCPPING protocol for cluster discovery. We recently tried to move to Infinispan Server 9.3.1. Upon installation, the Infinispan server seems to come up fine, however the cluster is not formed. We don't see any specific error in the logs which could point to any configuration issues in our setup.

The following system properties are passed to infinispan during startup:

-Djboss.management.http.port=9900 -Djboss.node.name=<hostname> -Djboss.bind.address=<hostname> -Djboss.bind.address.management=<hostname>

Please find attached the configuration file and the server log from one of the node.

You have both MPING and TCPPING in your JGroups stack. I think that the discovery request does not reach TCPPING, as there's no mention of that in the logs. Try removing MPING from the configuration.
