Richfaces 3.x security

I'm just curious if there are plans for a patched version of Richfaces 3.x to address the security issues:

like what was done for https://www.bleathem.ca/blog/richfaces-security-a... where the fixes were provided back to the community.

Any feedback you have would be appreciated.
