jaikiran Jul 13, 2019 9:42 AM (in response to gunta9)What does the server log file contain when this exception shows up on the admin console UI? Can you attach that server log file?

yakimaman Jul 24, 2019 3:15 PM (in response to jaikiran)Deployment tab in admin console hasn't worked since 12.0.0.Final. If you drag and drop artifacts to the deployment directory of standalone they do seem to get deployed but it is irritating that the admin console does not work anymore to show what is deployed.

I just checked on my local 17.0.1 WildFly installation. I have a foo.war deployment (exploded) in my standalone/deployments folder of a running WildFly. In the deployments tab of admin console, I do see this application listed.
Can you provide more details on what deployments you have in the standalone/deployments directory which don't get listed here? If possible, please try this against 17.0.1.Final of WildFly.

yakimaman Jul 29, 2019 10:59 AM (in response to jaikiran)I have added a datasource for Postgresql 42.2.5. It does not show up in the deployments tab even though the test connection is successful. And in the standalone directory it shows as deployed. But following the instructions to D & D to the deployment tab just does nothing. The D & D operation must be done directly to the directory to get a deployment (but is not shown on the tab).
All that shows up in the admin tab is:
Deployments
A deployment represents anything that can be deployed (e.g. an application such as EJB-JAR, WAR, EAR, any kind of standard archive such as RAR or JBoss-specific deployment) into a server.
You can use drag and drop to add new content or replace existing deployments. Simply drag one or several files onto the deployment column. If there's already a deployment with the same name, the deployment will be replaced, otherwise the deployment will be added. The deployments added by drag and drop will be enabled by default.

So this looks specific to a datasource deployment. Sorry, I haven't played around much with the admin console and neither with datasource deployments, so I'm unsure if this is a bug or some expected behaviour.
