I'd like to know if JBoss supports nested transactions, and if so, how 'portable' is the functionality (do most or all AppServers support this functionality?)

Finally, if it does support nested transactions, how is it supported? If I have an EJB with tx_required calling an EJB with tx_requiresNew does that generate a nested transaction?
