Intersts in petstore 1.3.1 on JBoss 3.2?

Hi,

we adopted petstore 1.3.1 for JBoss 3.2RC1. Are there interests in a tarball of this? Our environment and features are:
- Linux
- Sun JDK 1.4.1/1.3.1_06
- JBoss 3.2 RC1
- Eclipse 2.0.2 IDE
- Use of autogenerated unknown primary keys
- PostgreSQL 7.2 with sequences for the PK generation
- Class generation with eclipse, the ear files are build with ant

You could go to the petstore webfrontend, browse the pets, generate an account and place your order. Than you could manage the orders with the adminclient with Java Webstart.

The webservices are not adopted and tested and in our cvs checkout of JBoss seems to be a problem with the deployed packages. If you restart JBoss with deployed petstore ear files you get an exception when you send and order. We don't know yet if it is a bug in JBoss or in our petstore packages.

If there are interestes, how should we send it? The tar.gz file is about 8MB.

I'm very interested and I wouldn't mind looking at it if you have it on a public site or ftp.
I have been able to setup Petstore 1.3.1 using mySQL and JBoss 3.0.4, but I'm looking towards JBoss 3.2 since, as you probably know, 3.04 does not completely support CMP 2.0. If you get a chance, please let me know if you are using 3.2 in development and/or production environments, and if so, whether you ran into any problems. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

sorry for the delay, I was on vacation. I'll check the download possibility. We are looking forward to use JBoss 3.2 in production for our inhouse use. But it will take time till we are ready. I hope that 3.2 is released then.

Hi,

my posts from yesterday are gone. May be because of the switch back of the jboss-site to J2EE.

We made our petstore adoption downloadable at:

We hope it is helpful for others. By the way, there was a post on JBoss beginners from a guy who did it with xdoclet, but without unknown-pk. But the whole thread seems to be gone, too. This adoption together with ours could be interesting, too. May be it is possible to find it in an archive.

Hi,

I have listed several Pet Store ports in my reply to the FAQ thread "How to get started?" (http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ It contains also a reference to the version with xdoclet.

You are right, because of a temporary switch to another forum software all the messages during this time are lost. Luckily I had a backup of my longer posts ;-)
