1. Re: Cannot deploy project to server
sabrashevich Jul 16, 2007 6:21 AM (in response to rxalexa)Eclipse internal server
Do you mean Tomcat 5.5 that is shipped with Exadel Studio?
What type of project do you have (jsf, facelets..)? -

rxalexa Jul 16, 2007 9:50 AM (in response to rxalexa)No it's not the Tomcat that came with Exadel.
It is a JSF project.

sabrashevich Jul 17, 2007 4:43 AM (in response to rxalexa)As far as know Eclipse comes with no server inside. Could you provide the steps to deploy to that "internal server"? Basically you can deploy your project to Tomcat that ships with Exadel Studio or to any external server supported by Studio.

4. Re: Cannot deploy project to server
rxalexa Jul 17, 2007 3:13 PM (in response to rxalexa)I switched to the internal Exadel Tomcat server and I am having the same problem. When I look at the properties for the project, under server, it says: "This project cannot be deployed to a server".
Thanks -
5. Re: Cannot deploy project to server
sabrashevich Jul 18, 2007 4:49 AM (in response to rxalexa)Seems like there is a WTP-incompatibility with your project. What if you continue to deploy to external server? ):

6. Re: Cannot deploy project to server
rxalexa Jul 18, 2007 9:41 AM (in response to rxalexa)The project works fine in the external server. I just don't have the advantages of running it inside Eclipse.

7. Re: Cannot deploy project to server
sabrashevich Jul 20, 2007 6:29 AM (in response to rxalexa)You can try to delete this server and install any new that's supported by Studio (in Servers View right click -> New -> Server).
