JBoss3.2.0RC1-Tomcat4.1.18
Windows 2000
I have an EAR file that contains 3 jars, a war and a wsr(JBoss.NET). If my deployment fails, the ear file cannot be deleted as JBoss still have a file handle to it. Is this a new bug or known issue.
P.S JBoss 3.x deployment and classloading realy suck (IMHO) compared to the 2.4.x series. No one JBoss 3.x version got it right. Either classes from a previous deployment loads, or the ear file is locked.
Yes it was a bug, and yes it has been fixed.
Ironically, the bug is the JVM. We have our own
file URL handler to fix this, but another change
meant it wasn't being used.
