    help with jboss.xml resource-manager

    Michael Remijan Newbie

      Hi,

      I am trying to user jboss.xml to define a resource manager instead of defining it in standardjboss.xml. I define a datasource that deploys to java:/TaskDS. In my code, I want to use java:comp/env/jdbc/TaskDS. If I put the following inside of standard.jboss.xml, everything works:

      <resource-managers>
      <resource-manager res-class="org.jboss.ejb.deployment.JDBCResource">
      <res-name>jdbc/TaskDS</res-name>
      <res-jndi-name>java:/TaskDS</res-jndi-name>
      </resource-manager>
      </resource-managers>

      However, If I put this inside of jboss.xml (and have jboss.xml in the META-INF directory next to ejb-jar.xml) it doesnt' work. Here is my jboss.xml

      <enterprise-beans>

      <ejb-name>TaskGroupServicesHome</ejb-name>
      <resource-ref>
      <res-ref-name>jdbc/TaskDS</res-ref-name>
      <resource-name>TaskDataSource</resource-name>
      </resource-ref>

      <resource-managers>
      <resource-manager>
      <res-name>TaskDataSource</res-name>
      <res-jndi-name>java:/TaskDS</res-jndi-name>
      </resource-manager>
      </resource-managers>
      </enterprise-beans>

      Any suggestions?
