Q: Why is there a "EJBDeployer on WebService" dependency?

Hello together

I use 3.2.1 with Tomcat. In conf/jboss-service.xml, the MBean jboss.ejb:service=EJBDeployer defines the following dependency:

<depends optional-attribute-name="WebServiceName">jboss:service=WebService

I've just commented out this dependency, and my Servlet/EJB/JavaClient application runs fine. Now I wonder: In what cases does the EJB deployer really depend on WebService?

Hi Nicolas,

in EJB 2.1 you can define a web-service view for stateless session beans, therefore the dependency.
