In the last paragraph of Chapter 5 of Jboss documentation there is written that :

"One long outstanding bug of JBoss is that on a transaction timout, that transaction is only marked for a rollback and not actually rolled back....etc etc. One common no-no is making connections across the internet within a transaction"

Can anyone please update me on the status of this issue. We do intend to remove our connections from the transaction but in the meantime I would like to check if there is anything else we can do until we get the refactoring sorted out.
