When is JBoss/Tomcat 4.01 going to be fixed?

I can not get JBoss with Tomcat 4.0.1 to work on Linux. I just get Java exceptions whenever I go to port :8080 no matter if I use IBM's JDK or Sun's JDK.

JBoss with Tomcat 3.2.3 works. I have noticed that others have had problems also.

So...when is it going to be fixed?

Have you tried

http://localhost:8080/jboss

If you don't like having no root context have a look at

http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ vote is for putting Tomcat's kludge into
JBoss that says something like

if (context.equals("ROOT"))
context = "";

just to avoid the ugly .war trick
