JSP development in JBOSS

Hi all,,

Strange, I have to create an archive, put all the war in deploy, and remove it again...

Is there a way to setting this so i can work like using webapps in tomcat.

Just update the jsp, and run it.. working..

I think this is a very good idea for development.

esp if my jsp is connect to the EJB. JBoss solution right

AFAIK the latest 2.x version of jboss does this. you need to make a web_app_name.war directory in your JBOSS_HOME/deploy dir.

Hi.

Is it possible to specify the directory
of an exploded web app with
an absolute path?

It's for local development, we have an existing
path to our webapp directory and it would be hard
to change this for all developers
(CVS, other AppServers, etc.)

You do this in the AutoDeployer MBean specified in
jboss/conf/????/jboss.jcml

../deploy,../deploy/lib,file:/fullpath/myapp.war
