I just switched from JBoss 2.4.4 bundled with Tomcat 3.2.3 to the Jboss 2.4.4 bundled with Tomcat 4.01 & I'm facing big performance problems!!!
In fact all my servlets used for creating or modifying data
in the database (Oracle 220.127.116.11) while handling Entities CMP have response times multiplied by 30 or 100!!!
Very short updates for simple CMP objects require now 30s (they were less than 1s before).
I used the same config files than with my previous config
(a jboss.xml file used for switching the commit option for CMP entities to option C, & standardjaws.xml cotaining my default datasource pointing to my oracle db, then a jboss.jcml defining this DS).
Any help or pointer greatly appreciated.
It seems that my problem is solved, the problem (a little ugly) was for servlets waiting no responses, there was an open writer but no content was wrote, so I guess that catalina waited a timeout before closing it & delivering the response....
