JBoss 3.0/Jetty Beta Http Request Hang

I am using JBoss 3.0/Jetty Beta and Jetty seems to be hanging fairly frequently on Http requests. By hanging I mean it can sometimes take longer than 20 seconds for a web page to be returned, web pages that normally take less than a second to return. When I deploy the same ear file to JBoss 3.0 alpha, I don't have this problem. Is anyone else experiencing this problem with JBoss 3.0 Beta?

Yes, occasionally I am encountering this issue. I haven't detected a pattern to the slow response yet.

yeah, me too,.. embedded jetty 3.0 in another app hangs
regularly. hard to determine why,.. im on it though.

Guys,

I figure that this may be a browser problem.

Seeing as it is Jetty specific, the best place to get an answer is jetty-discuss@yahoogroups.com.

Put a mail out to this list - with details of webclient, jetty version, os, jvm etc.

I'm sure someone (Greg probably) will come back to you very quickly with an answer.

I posted a message to the yahoo jetty discussion group and Greg did respond. Other people are having this problem too and according to the yahoo jetty group it may be a problem with IE and Jetty. The issue is currently being investigated.

Good News! This problem has been fixed. Jules added the fix to the JBoss repository. Thanks to those who worked on this for the extra effort!

I also had this problem (Jboss3.0 beta/jetty and IE 5.5 or 6). Is the fix included in jboss3.0 RC1 ?
