    Ouch!

    Ian Hunter Newbie

      Folks,

I've got a Jetty/JBoss/struts (JB 2.4.4 Jetty 3.1.3) system thats worked fine for a few months but I've just found that it no longer finds classes in the WEB-INF/classes directory of a WAR in an EAR file. It's quite possible that I've changed something - but I have no idea what could cause this.

Can anybody tell me how WEB-INF/classes gets into the classpath and perhaps I can trace back.

I should have stayed in bed!

      Many Thanks
      Ian

          So,

Are you still using the version of struts and JBoss/Jetty ?

If so, then I don't see how the containers behaviour could have changed. Or have you moved the classes/jars around within your webapp, or messed with the classpath attribute in META-INF/MANIFEST.MF ?

If not, then tell me what you have changed and we'll take it from there.

Oops - just reread my post and noticed that I had missed out an important word....

Are you still using the SAME version of struts and JBoss/Jetty ?

              Hi there Jules,
Appologies for not getting back sooner. Events moving faster than I can respond!

Yes, the versions are exactly the same. I'll check out the manifest file when I get time.

I'm having other issues with CP which leads me to have to reboot server for changes. I need to get myself some time and go through everything to find out what's gone wrong.

I can't think of any changes I've made that would lead to this problem.

              Many thanks for your input
May I come back if I can provide a more focused question?

              Thanks
              Ian
