So your installation is working perfectly ...
Tomcat starts by default on port 8080. Apache starts by default on port 80 (which is the default port for http)
These port settings can be changed in the configuration files - but you shouldn't change them because they make sense.
Yes, I belive I configured the server correctly, since I have no error when I point my browser to http://localhost/jboss/index.html
however when I tired to deploy tomcat's examples to
I got following error information
[Mon Apr 29 10:53:18 2002] [jk_uri_worker_map.c (351)]: Into jk_uri_worker_map_t::map_uri_to_worker
[Mon Apr 29 10:53:18 2002] [jk_uri_worker_map.c (368)]: Attempting to map URI '/tomcat/index.html'
here is my application.xml file
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?>
anyone know why?
forgot copy the error message in mod_jk.log:
jk_uri_worker_map_t::map_uri_to_worker, done without a match
even I updated context which is /jboss in application.xml (in tomcat-test.ear), it still showes
match rul /jboss/=ajp13 was added
in mod_jk.log file.
I figured it out. I need update httpd.conf by adding
JKMount /tomcat/* ajp13
