I have a problem about servlet on jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3

I meet a error on \jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3 where I deploy a war file to server,but which is correct on JBoss-2.4.4_Tomcat-4.0.1.the report:"Internal error :file /WEB-INF/web.xml not found" when the war file being deploy.
why ? who can tell me I shall how to do?

Are you saying there is a problem with servlets on \jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3? I've been trying for a week to get a servlet to work on this version.

I have no problem on Jboss3.0.1RC1/Tomcat4.0.4.

in fact, it is very easy to update to Jboss3.0.1RC1/Tomcat4.0.4., seems nothing to be modify,

Sorry, I use Jboss3.0.1RC1/Tomcat4.0.4. as soon as I began developing JAVA APPLICANT., i just let Jboss3.0.1/TOMBAT4.0.3 start up.

I think you get this error when your WAR file has a Manifest file. Try taking the WAR file and doing the following:
jar -xvf <your warfile>
You should get two directories from this:
META-INF
web-inf
You don't need META-INF. Then do the following (you may want to rename your original warfile first):
jar -cvfM <your warfile> WEB-INF

This will create a new war file without the Manifest file. Try deploying this to see if it corrects your problem.
