when start jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3,show error,i don't know

i deploy a application to server,then i run run.bat in jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3\bin,show error message below:

ERROR: invalid console appender config detected, console stream is looping

what's meaning?

although there is error,but i still access my application which i deploy,but it run slowly,and console is blocked

yeah this will be caused by having log4j conflicts. Try taking log4j out of your app and see if this resolves your problem. If so, then put it back in slowly so can find out where the conflict is arising
