how to test axis installation

I installed the new 3.0.3 version and looked at most of the documentation and I think I am doing everything right (most likely not)

I installed jboss 3.0.3 and then watched the log file. I don't see axis anywhere in the system.log or boot.log

So of course this doesn't work
http://localhost:8080/axis/servlet/AxisService
or
http://localhost:8080/axis


Can you help?
I looked at the axis-config.xml and it doesn't look like I need to change anything there...
?
