    Jboss without Tomcat

      Dear All,

I'm planning to deploy tomcat (4.1.2) and jboss (3.2.2) in a separate machine. As we know jboss will deploy tomcat along with it, and when we run jboss, tomcat will also be run.

Does anynone know how to disable tomcat in jboss?

I have not tried this in a while but you need to remove the Tomcat SAR as well as all dependent services - such as the HTTP Invoker, the jmx-console, the web console (management). Youu might discover more if services fail at startup.

Normally, though you might want the embedded Tomcat operational so you can access the management consoles for JBoss. YMMV.
