TabPanel activeTab in the BackingBean

Hi

I have a rich:tabPanel in my jsp and its binding is pointed to a HtmlTabPanel in my backing bean

Is there any property in th HtmlTabPanel object thas tells me wich is the activeTab (the actual displayed tab) ??

use setSelectedTab()

Hi

I guess that would set the active tab, but what i need is to retrieve the selected tab once the new tab is activated

the getSelectedTab of the tabPanel is retrieving null
