1. Re: Why does it prompt me to login on every page in the rest
wchao Apr 25, 2002 5:05 PM (in response to pandawong007)Your session is probably not being preserved. Perhaps cookies are turned off in your browser. If you can't use cookies for some reason, you could turn on session tracking using URL rewriting. It's in the tomcat4-service.xml in the deploy directory if you are using JBoss 3.0RC1.

2. Re: Why does it prompt me to login on every page in the rest
pandawong007 Apr 25, 2002 6:12 PM (in response to pandawong007)thanks for responding. my browser has cookies enabled. i had this working with the alpha standalone and catalina but since i changed over to RC1 bundle, it hasnt been working properly. It doesnt seem to be caching my credentials. i have attached some files. maybe you can see something that i can't. In web.xml if i use BASIC instead of FORM, i cant query the db and i can browse thru the secure area fine (i guess its caching my credentials). only i cant logout. When I use FORM, it queries the db fine and authenticates, but i must login for each secure page.

wchao Apr 25, 2002 7:35 PM (in response to pandawong007)You have cookies="false" in your tomcat4-service.xml. Try setting it to "true".
