Just when I thought writing an EJB app was easy... now its time to deploy. Its taking me longer to deploy than to write the app!

How many ports are open here? (I'm using 3.0.1)
How many things are there to secure? Is there a complete list somewhere?

Lets see... we've got the jmx-console web app. Plus there is the underlying jmx EJBs themselves.

Anything else?

ps. I love JBoss completely! But this really seems like a big weakness. Those who deploy on the Internet really need to know how to quickly & safely deploy jboss.
