    Not Validating User credentioals for MBean - jmx/rmi/RMIAdap

    karuna Newbie

      Hi ,
      I have problem in setting security for MBean jmx/rmi/RMIAdapter. My application is able to contact without any details .
      The following is my client code :

      props.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "");
      props.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "");
      props.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS,"");
      props.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory");
      props.put(Context.URL_PKG_PREFIXES, "org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces");
      InitialContext context = new InitialContext(props);
      Object ref = context.lookup("jmx/rmi/RMIAdaptor");

      MY auth.conf looks like
      jmx/rmi/RMIAdaptor {
      // jBoss LoginModule
      org.jboss.security.ClientLoginModule required
      jboss.security.SecurityAssociation.principal="guest"
      jboss.security.SecurityAssociation.credential="guest"
      ;
      };

      Login-cinfig.xml will have the following :
      <application-policy name = "jmx/rmi/RMIAdaptor">

      <login-module code = "org.jboss.security.ClientLoginModule"
      flag = "required">
      <module-option name = "jboss.security.SecurityAssociation.principal">ddd</module-option>
      <module-option name = "jboss.security.SecurityAssociation.credential">dfdf</module-option>
      </login-module>

      </application-policy>

      And finally jboss-service.xml (Location:jboss-3.2.1\server\default\deploy\jmx-rmi-adaptor.sar\META-INF) :

      jmx/rmi/RMIAdaptor
      1199
      130.10.11.11

      But i need to validate againist user,password, url supplied from a UI based application.
      Please somebody help me out .
