update css style

Hi. Is there any way to update the css style of a component? Im trying to update a t:outputLabel and I have defined the two styles,but when I trigger the update with ajax4jsf,nothing happens. Anyone knows? Thanks

why don't you use a value binding for the component:

<h:outputLabel styleClass="#{styleBean.labelStyle}/>
