HELP !!!!!Custom Principal in request.getUserPrincipal()

I have searched this forum for an answer but in vain. I hope you could help me.
So I want to use my custom implementation of Principal. on the server side evrything works fine.
BUT on the SERVERSIDE request.getUserPrincipal() return a SimplePrincipal, NOT my principal

Any idea how to solve this????
I am using JBOss 3.2.1 and would change to 3.2.2 if necessary !

Should I change anything in Tomcat to solve this?

I look through the forum and found several questions like this, but there is no a answer! Please, help! Custom principal is very useful thing. I change my primary development server from weblogic to JBOSS and found this problem and i'm confused....:((
