However the same approach doesn't work if you try using the following:<h:commandButton image="img/map.jpg"> <a:support event="onclick" actionListener="#{map.click}" /> </h:commandButton>
Probably because the ActionEvent is not populated the same way in the ajax request as it is with a normal post back? -

ilya_shaikovsky Sep 20, 2007 10:38 AM (in response to gothmog)you shouldn't use support inside button! It's both action compoennts. So two requests will be fired.
Just use a4j:commandButton instead of h:. Withotu support.
