Well i'm not sure if this is the problem but jboss-j2ee.jar jnp_client are not enough.
You need to add all the jars that are in the client directory to your classpath.
I included all jars in the jboss client dir but still get the same error. Are there any other jars that need to be deployed on the client machine?
that should be enough. Can you look up any other object in JNDI???
I tried to lookup some other objects which I could see with JNDIView on port 8082. I get the same results - NamingException null. Another funny is that if I run the JMSPublisher client on the same machine as Jboss and topic, it works when I run and build with Ant, but from within Forte, I get the same exception - I made sure I have all the right jars included in Forte classpath. Now when I use the same ant build script on a remote machine, it does not solve the problem. It looks to be more of a jndi problem - maybe you can direct me somewhere.
Make sure that the jndi.properties file that is in the classpath is configured correctly.
This is the contents of my jndi.properties file
looks good to me. Post your question to the FAQ forum. Maybe someone has seen the same error before.
