    3.0 beta persistance/recovery problem

    Eduard Newbie

      Hi everybody,

      I have the following problem:
      - send 100 1M persistent messages to the queue ( cache settings are 30/50 ).
      - all message listeners at this time are disabled.
      - restart server.
      - get the following error:

16:28:26,189 INFO [MessageCache] Memory usage serverity=0.11734726
^[[B16:28:31,373 INFO [MessageCache] Memory usage serverity=0.47982186
16:28:42,184 INFO [MessageCache] Memory usage serverity=0.90301913
16:28:55,649 ERROR [ServiceController] JMRuntimeException thrown during ServiceProxy operation start
      on mbean jboss.mq.destination:service=Queue,name=CES
      java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
      <<no stack trace available>>
      - after a.m. errors I am not able to receive any message.

My env: RH6.2/Sun's jdk1.3.1/JBoss3.0.0beta with generic configuration ( all what I've changed is cachesize )

I appreciate any comment on the matter.

      Thanks in advance.

      Ed.
