    MDB onMessage() Exception Handling

    Mirko Buholzer Newbie

      How is the "official" concept of Exception handling within the onMessage() Method in an MDB? Meaning, if I have to talk to other resources in the onMessage() Method and such a resource is currently not available, the Method should throw an Exception and the Message should be put back in the Queue. Are there any specialties to consider (Special Deployment Descriptor/Exception/...)?
      Is there a way to activate and deactivate a MDB, such that if I stop a Service a MDB should also be stopped?

      Best regards
