If there's something with ${ } around it, you can supply a System property, i.e.
./run.sh -Dfoo=bar -

sachinshah Aug 29, 2005 1:58 AM (in response to sachinshah)Hi,
I tried passing this value through -D but of no use. UIL2Service still binds at IP 0.0.0.0:Port Which is the default settings.

In this attribute if i mention Host name rather then the IP then service is bound to the following format /:Port.
Does anyone have idea how to avoid this so that service is bound to :Port

In this attribute if i mention Host name rather then the IP then service is bound to the following format "HostName"/"IPOfMachine":Port.
Does anyone have idea how to avoid this so that service is bound to "HostName":Port

josey May 25, 2006 8:41 PM (in response to sachinshah)Anyone find a solution to this one? I am running into this same issue. ${jboss.bind.address} resolves to the loopback address for JMS clients requesting a connection unless I hardcode the ip address.
Setting a system property does not work as indicated in one of the posts above.
Note: this is not an issue on Windows or Ubuntu (linux). I have only run tinto this issue in Debian.
Anyone else run into this issue? -

g4dpz May 26, 2006 5:20 AM (in response to sachinshah)Hi,
You should be able to ue the '-b' argument on the command line...
E.g.
./run.sh -c all -b 192.168.0.254
