Reviewing now it is safer to have this. I had not put this since I used the premise of the default value for boolean types but since we cant assure how WAS classes behave (eg.: if this is pooled) then I completely agree with you that we should have this.

FYI: I built EMS v1.2.10 that includes this enhancement ( http://mc4j.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mc4j/tags/ems_1_2_10/ ).

I also uploaded it to the proper repository so it will eventually make its way to the JBoss Maven repo website - there is currently some infrastructure problems that is causing the maven repo to not get updated, but once things are fixed, this new EMS 1.2.10 will be found here on the maven repo:

http://repository.jboss.com/maven2/mc4j/org-mc4j-ems-impl/1.2.10

At the same time, I'll be checking in code such that our maven builds have a dependency on this 1.2.10 so this feature will get picked up by the jmx plugin.
