I worked with JBoss 2.4.3/Tomcat 3.2.3 and I tried to do some management. I would manually change the settings of a DatabaseConnectionPool (Attribute MaxSize, which means the maximum number of connections to this database) during the server is running.
I could change the Attribute MaxSize, but it didnt take any changes. I inkremented the number of possible database Connections, but there was not really any more available!
My question is now: isn't it possible to change this attribute (increase the number of possible databaseConnections) during the server is running?
May I go to JBoss 2.4.4 or JBoss 3.0?
