I download JBoss_3_2_0_1, built it and ran it. I compared jmx-console to :8082, i.e., the reference implementation. I found the reference implementation easier to read because the contents is sorted alphabetically. I can't find any way to sort the contents of jmx-console. Is that an option? If not, I'd like to request the contents be sorted. Should I open a bug?
