I am trying to set the Filter property of the URLDeploymentScanner service but keep getting a ClassNotFoundException.
The class name I am trying to set the Filter property to is the name of a class which is in a jar that I have tried putting in both libs (Jboss, and my server's).
I thought the Unified Class Loader was supposed to solve these problems.
If anyone can successfully set the Filter property of the URLDeploymentScanner mbean/service (intrinsic to JBoss 3) to a classname of their own custom FileFilter class, please post instructions to do so.
Thanks so much,
Andrew
It is a bug, it is using Class.forName() to load
the filter :-(
If you put your jar in /lib then start jboss with
./run.sh -L your.jar
it will work. But you shouldn't have to do that.
