3. iPhone App to Monitor JBossAS servers on AppStore
peterj Jan 11, 2011 11:04 AM (in response to str)Was it perhaps that the app was released under the GPL? Saw some articles yesterday that VLC was pulled from the app store because Apple's app store restrictions are incompatible with the GPL license. The GPL states that you can redistribute the software only if you do not add any restrictions beyond those in the GPL, but the app store adds additional restrictions to all software it provides, thus the app store cannot legally distrubute GPLed apps. I suspect that LGPLed code will hit the same roadblocks.

5. iPhone App to Monitor JBossAS servers on AppStore
tigerpaw Jan 11, 2011 1:03 PM (in response to str)No the app is not GPL. We let the app expire on another company development account. The app will be re-posted to the store with some major improvements to the original app under another vendor. I'll comment again when the app is being approved. Thanks!
