Need to Varify my install of JBoss?

I just downloaded JBoss yesterday and it seems to be running? I would like to test the install but can't seem to get ANT to compile the test ejb's (interest). I would like to just verify that it was installed and functional. Is there any easier way to test the basic functionality? besides going through the editing of XML and trying to compile java with ANT? I really appreciate any help on this..

jboss-tomcat 2.2* used to ship with a demo app with servlet/ejb integration testing standard and optimized stacks and giving you simple benchmarks of your application, is the testbean there? if not try downloading the old version and drop the jar in there, we should really ship it standard again just so that you can test your installation.
