I don't know much about MacOS but try the
You need java 1.3 to run JBoss (I think?)
The second command will tell you which virtual
machines (VM) are supported.
I'm using 3.0, but I think the same applies to 2.4.x...
MacOS only has a client hotspot, no server yet :-((
comment out these lines from run.sh
# If JAVA_OPTS is not set and the JVM is HOTSPOT enabled, then the server mode
#if [ "x$JAVA_OPTS" = "x" -a "x$HAS_HOTSPOT" != "x" ]; then
and it should work fine.
Is 10.1.2 out? I can only find 10.1.1
What db are you using/planning to use?
Thanks for the explanation! JBoss is now up an running on a first generation iMac! Now it's time to loose some sleep playing around.
