RichFaces-PanelMenu

Hello
Is there a way where I can customize the penelMenu to show a specific number of menuItems, if the number of those menuItems is greater than the specified number, then a "more" menuItem is then displayed at the buttom enabling the extension to a sub-menu or something?

Unfortunatelly no such functionality out-of-the-box.

...I've come to realize that its not available out of the box...but are there any work arounds to achieve this?
