Hello, i bought the complete stark/fleury documentation and after reading all 451 pages several times and struggling with jboss 4 several months i decided to try to build jboss from sourcecode. page 19 in the docs says to issue the following cvs command:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.jboss.sourceforge.net/cvsroot/jboss login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.jboss.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/jboss
CVS password:

the documentation says to just press return when prompted 4 the password but i just get my prompt back and nothing happens.

i now know there r many things broken or r not working correctly in jboss/embedded tomcat in particular the server.xml which 4 the most part seems to be ignored by jboss. and running standalone is not a solution because there is no way to cofigure communication between the two servers without using AbstractWebContainer but then i need to build from source. pls advise, david brown. www.webitplanet.com
