Problem running JBoss on Win2K

I've installed JBoss-3.0.1RC1 on Windows 2000, started it up and opened I.E. 6.0 with localhost:8082 and all I get is "The page cannot be displayed". What am I missing? I've read through the JBoss 3.0 Quick Start and the FAQ, as well as bugging all of my friends but I'm still not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions are appreciated.

well, take a look at the $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy
folder and you will find there the jmx-console.war exploded version
this means that you are able to access
http://localhost:8080/jmx-console/ which will show you what you found before at http://localhost:8082/
