since I've been using the older JBoss, it was enough to replace catalina folders :)
But after reading your message I figured I could turn to JBoss 3.0.2 as well!

The embedded catalina used in JBoss will need to be
started with a reference to JBoss's MBeanServer.
Not sure what other changes maybe required to the
integration.
